After years working in healthcare administration and management, I watched too many well-meaning training sessions miss the mark because they were not built around the real pressures and realities of care work.
My background is not clinical, and that turns out to be a strength. I have spent my career on the operations side of healthcare — the side that deals with compliance, staff development, duty of care, and the paperwork that determines whether a care home passes its next inspection.
